We saw a search party on Beasore Road maybe a little east of Globe Rock on our way out last evening, presumably looking for her. Not sure where Johnson’s Meadow is exactly, unless that’s it... Yes hoping for the best though been so long already.

Thanks Mike. Sounds pretty close to Arnold Meadow then. Looking for a map just out of curiosity but not finding yet.

Last weekend we heard news that the missing hiker must still be out there as there are cues continuing   to show this possibility and that there may be quite a story to unfold some day about her.

Just saw another post about the missing hiker, name is Sandra Johnsen Hughes. She was spotted along Road 5S01 last weekend around the Portuguese Creek area at The Balls. She was wearing overalls and a floral shirt. A previous sighting indicated she was barefooted. The person who saw her said she seemed thinner than in the photos of her.

Officials do not think she is trying to evade them, and suggest she may be in a dissociative state unable to realize she may need help. If anyone sees her, we are requested to try to make contact with her and let her know family, her niece Ashley, are worried about her. It is suggested to engage her long enough to reach out to law enforcement to get there.
