Round About intersection in North Fork

Drive through it regularly in the season. Is this a good thing? At least it will be visible to someone new to the intersection. But traffic might move through it pretty quickly, rather than slowed to a stop.

That's always been an odd intersection and it seems to me the stop signs have changed which makes it confusing. I think a large roundabout would work nicely there.

The only down side to roundabouts is that Americans are not used to them.

New Zealand has changed every intersection it can to roundabouts and it works wonderfully - even for this senior American who is not used to them, was driving a motor home and driving on the left. The thought of it kept me awake at night before we went but like most midnight worries, it turned out to be nothing.

It's a total money grap by the county, its such a waste of tax dollars, no here wants it but the county wants the fed grant money, your tax dollars wisely spent, what a joke :-(
