I have done a few new routes on the north face and east face of Dinkey Dome. If someone has done these before, then let me know. On the far left side of the north face of Dinkey Dome, I did an easy but potentially scary climb called "Rolling The Dice For (Your) Life" (about 5.6). This climb starts at a pine tree on the far left side about 14" diameter. The climb is directly across the canyon from where the brown rock band starts from the granite. The climbing up to the top is one pitch and is fairly easy with many natural protection locations, but it felt like many of the flakes and blocks are loose or loosely perched on the top, hence the name of the climb. If you look closely, all of the blocks at the top are perched on slanting slabs. Who knows when one of these will decide to move? Climbed on October 12, 2014.
On the east face, I have done several routes. I have named this area which did not have any previous published climbs the Greendale area. The bolted route on a low angle slab that goes up, goes left, and then goes up is called "Be The Rain" (about 5.4-5.5). This climb has nine or ten bolts. Climbed on May 17, 2015. The bolted route that goes straight up is called "Sun Green" (about 5.4-5.5). This climb has seven bolts and an optional cam around 1". This was climbed on March 21, 2015. Both climbs start and end at the same location. You can rappel down with two ropes or walk off to the right.
I also top roped two climbs to the right of "Sun Green", but chose not to bolt them. I did not assign the routes any particular name, but someone can chose other songs from Neil Young's Greendale album for the names.
