Love the secret spots
« on: August 27, 2018, 03:54:33 pm »
I have been wanting to check out this new area and finally did. Some great walls with cracks everywhere. Joe, Fred and I checked it out a few weeks ago. We put up 5 short fun climb up to 75' and they went all trad. Just placed a few anchors on top. Hard to beat.

Paul and I returned this last weekend and score a great line. Maze Runner 5.7/8 59m. Placed an anchor on top and midway to allow a party to rap in with 1x60m rope.

Our little shady cave on top.

You are going strong! Looks like so much fun! Thanks for sharing.

I like the name of this thread. Maybe if I ever get my photos organized I can go back thru and pick some out to post up sooner than later.

Guess I could have put this on the general slot. John can move it I am sure.

Looks good! Here's a pic of another lesser used area. (I guess I am too dumb to post a photo.  I think it is in the photo album.)  Not a loose flake or piece of grit for 300'.  Wanted to climb this for years, but couldn't convince anyone to go until I reminded my 70 year old friend that we were not getting any younger. Go team Geritol!
