Took a HS kid noob and another who climbs rarely up on Sat. Met Paul at Tiger Cage. He was spending the weekend with a couple guys. One who wanted pics of stars at night and another who wanted to try outside climbing. A climbing camp with kids from the Bay Area had set up like 5 ropes so we decided to go to the Upper Tier right above it. Hadn’t ever climbed there. Low angle crack fun and perfect for new climbers. All are 5.6-maybe 5.9. Lead a few and set TR for laps by all. There are a couple sets of anchors as well as boulders to sling. Fun book on the right side as well.

Stopped by the Wishon store after to say hi to a friend and grab and ice cream. Not a bad day.
