Title: My friend Doug and his DAMMERR
Post by: daniel banquo merrick on January 27, 2022, 06:07:18 am
The interview is long but interesting. He demonstrates piton placement and removal starting at about 56:00.

DAMMERRs are becoming a rarity, I've only made 5 this year but get inquiries about once a week. Somebody connected with DMM Wales sent an email yesterday asking if I can supply the oddly specific number of 370. They got a no. Do you member the soup Nazi from Seinfeld? I'm the hammer Nazi yelling No hammer for you!

“Two weeks!”

That’s my recipe for “bolts in 10 minutes”

Dan, what if you developed just a few for dmm, or gave us the recipe to fulfill some? Unless you just rather be the soup nazi…?

Great to see you last month by the way. Hoping to see you out there this month if conditions cooperate…

I'd be happy to teach somebody to make them but they would find that here is way too much time in them to make any money. The only way to make them with cost efficiency would be to have the heads cast at a foundry.
