The pebbles up high are often the best.

Hah, just saw the levitating one. Fun effect! That last photo is great too because it looks crazy bouldering there... like you could roll off the top.

The boulder right behind the climber in the first photo, next to the road, is what has been called the Hippo Boulder for a long time, apparently. A few good problems there.

So people actually boulder cracks??

I've never seen any in the bouldering gyms, so...

 :o

Looks spiffy, and unfamiliar. How high?

Oh yah. I did that one back in 75' with an Indian headdress on after some firewater. Never sent it in to AAJ but told Robins about it at the shop in Fresno. Called it 'Ass with Warts' V0 or 5.9 or 5.5 A2

It was my first FA since I was born in 73' ;-)

 Bwahahahahaha! Most impressive!

We didn't climb any of  these, but walking by them.. I felt like a kid in a candy shop.

Well DaveyTree as a native american boulderer of the 70's you must have been relieved that the offensive name "Squaw Dome" was changed to Piyau, right?

That boulder is awesome. I wonder if three people doing the same problem at the same time would tip it over.
