I don't think we have a thread for this.

Any good smears/trickles/rime?

I think at one time this came up on the ST soyo thread (or somewhere else), and the conclusion was pretty much that there are limited places out there where climbable ice might form, but it would take extensive snowmobiling to get to it. I think Jeff might have contributed some knowledge at the time.

I did some above Nevada Falls many moons ago. I'm sure the tahoe crowd has something to offer.
