I still have never been to Needles. Def on the list but I never seem to get away from local projects.

my problem exactly. I'm looking for an excuse of a route to get out there. Something obscure but classic.

Always wanted to climb White Punks on Dope and Black Guys on Welfare just cause of the names.

Munge, I have done Love Potion but the climbing is no longer in my data base so maybe not classic like other routes there.

10-4. thx

The SEKI guide said something about it being classic. It looks like it has great position and the rock looks moderately featured.

I'll need to do a bing search and see what comes up for images.

I don't know if any of you follow such things but bookfinder.com, which searches every used book on the planet, only finds three copies of the Moser/Vernon/Paul guide to Needles. Maybe it's only two copies.

I've never been to Needles and my copy of the guide looks like it has never been opened.

If this is the book Munge refers to, yes the book rates Love Potion #9 as a 5.10 "five-star classic."

I used to exchange info with Sally Moser but I haven't heard from her in years. She was director of the Access Fund for awhile - I bet that didn't pay much.

By the way, I'd happily let my copy go for something less than $4632.03.
