Title: Wishon rock opportunities - road question?
Post by: mungeclimber on September 08, 2013, 02:37:19 pm
Has anyone driven out Switch Yard road to the pump house at the North End of Wishon Reservoir (this is not the road near lake level)?

Is that the one that turns off before the lake going north. If so there is a bunch of one pitch stuff.

Yeah. It looks like it goes all the way to the pump house, but I'm wondering if it really does, or if it is gated well before there. Trying to estimate the hiking distance from ~lake level versus going in from above.

thx!

Separately, I got a few pics of a huge formation downstream on N. Fork. Splitters.

I think the climbs toward the pump house are mentioned in in the old guide book. Below Wish on has some HUGE rock.
