Thanks Susan, Lars.

Saw these from a fellow traveller on the way downhill.    I'm assumed it was a nice bear.

By the paw prints, doesn't look to be a very big bear. But in this case, mom may be near too.

Ignorance is bliss :)
I was happy not to have seen any cat tracks considering recent threads here.

I did wear a climbing helmet, as if it might actually help a little.  Oh, and trekking poles make good weapons I hear.

O no, now that's done it. I'm distracted from work and thinking of when all to wear helmets... just around. Way too many to post.

Thanks Yeti!  Yeah, go for it, looks like a blast!   I wanna get a shot of a party bivouac'd at night.   Some lights midway up would make for a good focal point.

Susan, I gotta say I'm voting for that air helmut too.   Increases one's size profile and the kitty kat's gonna go "WTF?".

Not only that, but it will prevent Professor Xavier from reading your mind.

Splendid!  Can double as a flotation device and suffice as a pillow.  Multi-function! :)

Reminds me of the time I forgot my helmet going mountain boarding.  We actually used a belt to strap a car pillow to my head!
