Have fun Munge! Cool photo of choss.

Skies o'er soyo look good eventhough faroff clouds are chaotic. Could be perfect - maybe a little threat of thunder and lightning evenings only with any luck.

Got a little muddy over Memorial Day weekend but was totally worth getting out there in spite of the rain. The thunder storms weren't too bad for the better part of all the days.

Took advantage of the time one of the days by going to the Wagner Store at Mammoth Pools to get more ice, and it turns out they sell ice cream. Scoop type not just prepackaged. That was a treat. They also have a counter for breakfast or lunch....

Just learned there are also coin-op showers offered around the corner from the Wagner store FYI. Takes quarters.

I'm not Shirley but am sure too. Forecast looks heavenly next week.

Mosquitoes and those tiny black bugs that always want to get into the eyes were some troublesome in the gray hood 2 weekends ago tho.

Anybody know if Beasore rd is clear of snow now? Has anyone been into Chilkoot lake?

No doubt about the wasps! You know what's a little helpful is Sue puts a bowl of dishwater out by our truck and it was filled with dead yellowjackets by the end of the weekend, they drown themselves for some reason. Generally didn't do squat considering the quantity.

They were unusually annoying - like black flies that look like bees or wasps. I was orbited all weekend with many landing and even needling in, but they left no mark. Mainly I was especially freaked due to a friend with us who is deathly allergic. She was emotionally at ease, comparatively, convincing me I have got to get into yoga and/or meditation...

He got lifted out. Someone had benedryl he took right after but had to get lifted by CHP , per Facebook. Will have take precautions for lunesta and make sure groups have benedryl.

FYI if anyone gets bites and is allergic , make sure you chew the benedryl to get it into your system faster. Glad Mikey is ok.
