WOOT!  Thx! Mrs. Munge wants to hit Clip Jr. Her first route in the ORG. We were just talking about this a couple nights back. Checking Calendar...

Yeah! Would love to come out sometime for sure! Gotta work on John on that one.

Hey, I like your sort of equal opportunity naming attempt there Jeff... :) Don't like hearing you got hurt at all. Hope it mends good n fast.

Don't know the name of that route nor rating in the last photo John posted. Believe it to be done by Jerry A. Stunning rock right there, that is for sure.

By the way, a latest name I just thought of for that route John & Sean and I did together last time we were three of as at Minerva: Puppet on a String. Whaddya think?

And way to go Mrs. Munge!

There is a popular and very fun 10c called, excuse me, Show Us Your Tits. I named my route that I put up to the left of it Thanks for the Mamories. I was also thinking of calling it Big or Small We Like Them All or just Men Are Such Pigs. With all the time I spent there cleaning the choss I have yet to see a single boob.

Friggin hilarious.

What route is that above your leading Sue? Nice looking stone. Also looking well protected.

I believe Sue is on Jerry's climb "Don't Drink The Corporate Coolaid" at Paradise Dome. Mid 5.10. Yes, tightly bolted.

The word... Mammoth mountains 2+' ended up being 7" and our 10-20" ended up being 3-4"
Very bummed!
Oh, now the latest update for Mammoth Mt  is 12-16".     LIES!

Somebody post up a few good pics to brighten my day

Don't think so, as it's right below/before Hidden Eagle, which isn't secret...

My source in Twain Harte (hwy108 area) says only a couple inches at 4k or so feet as of this morning. Will likely melt out fast at that elevation.

Snow fail. When are we going to get the real deal?

Also, photo fail. My photobucket free site is full, and I haven't found a free site I like better for linking photos yet to add new ones. Plus, every time I'm online lately to forum hop, the Christmas imp in me gets held hostage by promos and shopping. It's all good... almost done with shopping!

Flickr is 1tb of space free, but it sure isn't user friendly for grabbing the links.

This is "Big Lunk" on Delk Dome. A very interesting and physical climb. Starts as an undercling flake then becomes a looooong (like 300+' long), low angle chimney and OW. Super fun "reverse-slinky" path you take with regular body-side directional changes. A bunch of wild movement unique to chimney climbing.
First pitch:

Somewhere in the middle:

The angle at end of the chimney forces you to pretty much climb sideways until you can escape onto the summit:
