Thanks for those posts that got me laughing out loud this morning. Good for the soul.

I've often wondered if once the secret is out it'll all be over with. Heard some encouraging words Sunday about how a place will catch a little short lived love til the hike and drive and fact that there isn't much in the way of convenience... catches up too.

Remove the bolts on Captain Wing Feather and the rap line and I bet no more crowds at Gray. I wonder how busy High Eagle was that same weekend?

I just had a tear well up in my right eye....

Man, I miss those days.  I remember the above photo, and how great that weekend was!

I was so afraid of putting in bolts in the beginning, we truly had some death anchors on a few routes... Hehehe

Jeffe, as I look back, you handled the new wave as best you could.  Hard to think what that must have been like all those years ago!  Hell me and Kev must have been a shocker to deal with!

Titanic is still waiting, maybe even pry off the sail?  From above of course!

Man, I really do miss the beginning of all of our friendships and adventures out at gray.

Only if I could have had more time off and been up there more, we could have really done some damage.

That place is way better with you all there.

Slack! Ping!

No not Josh and it was only one bolt which I replaced. Not sure if it's still there or not, it's been a while :'(.

Jeff, That bolt is still intact. Just saw it the other day.

Thanks for your kind words.Ya know it's mutual. Haven't tried them all yet but what I have, you put up so many classics.

Hoping you get out there for a couple days soon and that we can arrange meeting up  I dont think your drive is much farther than ours hint hint.

Sorry folks for the miss information. None of my bolts were chopped. Only a hanger of an offending bolt was removed. The post above was all in fun (note emotion wink icon) and I am not blaming anyone with the prior post.

Thanks Jeff.

Here's another photo for ya I hope you like. Hope it isn't a repost.

I believe this was taken during the Aspen fire. And that there was a helicopter flying nearby that morning.
