John found this on the steep 3rd pitch of Helm's Deep at Power Dome last year. Picked it out to use the protection hole that it was left in.
Wonder whose it could be, other than ours now! ;)

The pin holding what's left of the sling is rusted and wobbly. Kind of like it best as a curio on my work desk.

I believe. MMP is pretty low elevation, but that area by the dam gets a good breeze usually if you happen to be in the area. I think you already tried these lines though, IIRC?

Took my very dear little friend on his first trad climb, his first multi-pitch and first rappel (fireman's belay). Dude cleaned gear and rocked a DAMMERR t-shirt all weekend but the old greybeard had to climb with the pack.
