Seems these were taken from across the SJR then, Dan? It's neat to see the infrared images of the fire damage which to the naked eye look cast in infrared already. I wouldn't have noticed the fire damage in your photos except for the burned remains of matchstick tree groves.
That shorty patch of slab in front is what we call the Beehive as there used to be many bee boxes planted around the turnout. Now moved. The area did have some nice camping even with the bees not far off there before the fire. The wildflowers are coming back enforce, and parts of that area are still pleasant I think.
