Fire
« on: July 15, 2019, 06:44:19 pm »
Coming home today I could see a fire somewhere up the San Joaquin gorge. Hope it is far enough away not to smoke up the whole SoYo area. Get it out quick please

The afternoon winds will blow smoke right up the gorge.

Here is a link to the Inciweb fire fighting report with a smoke air quality website reference: https://inciweb.nwcg.gov/incident/6440/

Upsetting as always, but sounds like a potentially good handle on it with 96 acres burned in the French Fire “footprint’ and 35% containment already, right? Hopefully...
