Southern Sierra Subforum
« on: March 30, 2013, 12:47:15 am »
Thought about a small subforum for guys like Radish to post and share stories?

Edit - also Clint has created a stunning collection of notes and topos in a single source for the Patterson Bluff area

Looks to me like he's doing pretty good on his own. That is an awesome blog.

We can rename the site "Areas With Southern In Their Name.com"

Yeah, I suppose so. I always associate anything soyo with sosierra. They naturally go together in my mind. (and I don't register on people's blogs like WordPress etc. because it's not a forum per se, it's just a 'comment on the blog' - there isn't proper threading showing what's being discussed. (bias towards bulletin board forums, I guess :))

I too think of Soyo when I hear Southern Sierra, but I don't necessarily the other way around. I thought of fitting in some of the sort of close areas like Courtright, Tollhouse, Wishon, etc. in since they are kinda close, but in regards to all of the So Sierra it seems like such a much bigger subject it should have it's own site. A So Sierra subforum could easily be split off into a separate site someday at a later time too.

Any input on this out there?

Either way... I think just start with this thread and see what happens. Right now I prefer the overall site focus of soyo not so si, tho.
