Hi all, wish I could go to this meeting, but be climbing at the park (Yosemite) tomorrow, but reading the Sierra Star article sounds like the SNF are going to report on what they have been doing to fix the roads and clearing out dead trees fixing the Norris Bridge after the Creek Fire and last years storms damage things like that, did not read anything stating park status. It would be interesting go to that meeting. happy climbing Mike A.

Morning all, talked to a person here in town this morning who went to the meeting last Tuesday night in North Fork, they said the meeting was all about updates on what the SNF have been fixing on the Sierra Vista Scenic By Way Loop. and the Apple Orchard next to the Fire Station it making plans to open up a resort, nothing about the governments plan to have Yosemite, SNF, Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Park in to one park, hope this info brings some clarity on this subject, happy climbing Mike A.

Hi all, even tho their is a closed road sign at the Apple Orchard I drove all the way to Mammoth Pools to the Dam gate which is still closed! So no snow and the road is good to that point. Chiquito Dome is for sure open for the season! I am free to climb most days if anyone is down to climb with grumpy Grandpa lol :-) Happy climbing Mike A.

Morning all, yes the gate by Wanger's the gate that goes out to the dam still closed!, and I just got an e-mail this morning by law enforcement that I was involution and can get a ticket for being on Minarets Rd so the road is still closed and they did not tell me when the road will open? Having the road closed is lame I have seen the road in worst shape and the road was not closed in the past! so the closed part of Minarets Rd from Redinger Vista point to Grizzly Rd are still in place! Happy climbing Mike A.
