Mountain Reports
« on: February 06, 2022, 01:33:51 pm »
Just finished up the duck hunting season. Lots of duck tacos in the future. Looking forward to getting out. Anyone been up lately? Snow reports? Road conditions?

I am looking forward to getting back up.

I was planning to get up there and had to drive to Oregon for family stuff the last couple weekends. Now supposed to snow and next weekend I will be in Washington. We need the snow but I miss the mountains.

Nice to get there last weekend if only briefly. First part of day was sunny until a breeze blew in and clouded up.Brr it grew cold. All the bleakness of the burned landscape will take a while to get used to, but it was grand how not crowded it was. Really missed it here, so happy for the visit.

Morning, snowed in Oakhurst yesterday about a couple inches but all melted today, snowed around a foot at cold springs summit yesterday., Great to see John and Sue going up there thanks for the pix. The wild flowers are starting to come up, can see them real good at the lookout at Reddinger on minarets rd. The SNF has been putting up new signs that got burnt down from the creek fire. hope to run in to you all this season, happy climbing mike a.

Thx Susan and Mike. That looks pretty good, not a crowd to be seen.

Can't access much stone on 108 yet, but that will change soon. Thinking of actually going to Yosemite. GASP!
