Title: Does this formation have routes on it?
Post by: mungeclimber on March 29, 2013, 11:05:38 pm
when we walked by, everyone said something 'why bother' and 'you could solo that' etc. but I'm VERY keen to climb on that thing this season.

Does this one appeal to you? There are dozens like these all over the ridge.

Looks kinda like something Slater has played on.
The "why bother" folks are snobs. Pay no attention to them.  ;)

And leaves more for you to enjoy... If I could just find the bunches of photos I took in that vicinity...  When we walked through there I remember thinking the area could be great for camping, bouldering and might have a lot of crag potential.

Munge,
I was surprised to not see convenience anchors all over it so I could only guess who hasn't climbed on it. Beautiful setting and camping up there. Lets check it out.

I don't know where those are but look fun to me. I would climb them for sure if I found them.
