Does anyone else hear the crickets? I hope that means you all had great holidays and are out making it real.

Other state posting accomplished..... Now!
bouldering, some rope, finally got on something harder than 5.10 (on tr) since feeling better, so very psyched for that.

Also out of state, off the grid......reception not awesome.

The sound is a blend of a chirp and a few purrs over and over.
It is good to be home! Happy the holidays split the weeks like they did and allowed more time away than usual. It was so good to hit the road with an open agenda and let the days unfold how they may.

Among other things, the highlights were Dream of Wild Turkeys, Wholesome Fullback, Our Father and The Next Century. We had all of Black Velvet Canyon to ourselves for a couple of days! Would have done all of Epinephrine if the days weren't so short.
The Next Century got me so excited. It is exactly the type of climbing I wish I could find on Shuteye Ridge but everyone bolts the crap out of everything and doesn't appreciate using gear between bolts. I still constantly look for routes like that before they get dumbed down with bolts. That climb is so gorgeous.
BTW Jeff we saw a fixed Try-N-Cam we attempted to get out for you! Sorry, we failed.

Sweet shots.
TryNcam....Ha!
Did you take the set of Tricams off of your Christmas tree yet John?
